Day Fifteen - are we there yet?
Today's weather: fog, clearing to cloud then sun
We started our second to last day back on the moors in thick fog. Daddy's eyes were about as much use as mine so I kept us on course with my super sense of smell. I wonder how far it is until the end of our walk? Daddy gets bored of me asking, 'are we there yet?'
By mid morning the fog cleared and we were entertained by RAF fighter jets zooming over the moor and down the valley.
I did lots of walking today as I had a good rest yesterday but still managed to slip in a few naps.
We both had a sit down by a lovely river where there was a cool breeze and the sun shone.
There was a shallow ford so it was safe for me to have a paddle on my own to cool down my hot paws.
I wanted to play hide and seek so I kept running off and hiding from Daddy. It's one of my favourite games.
In the end he put me in my carrier - spoilsport!
Today's lovely song is dedicated to all my dear doggie cousins around the world who are still waiting for somewhere to call home. Daddy puts on a jolly face but I know it makes him sad to think about them.
Because of the kindness and generosity of all you wonderful humans, and the love and dedication of everyone at Dogs Trust, some more of them will be home soon.
My adventure is nearly over (and yes, we are almost there!) but Daddy says not to worry as we're going to have lots more. We've already started planning the next one!
