Day Fourteen - we've come a long way
Today's weather: showery
We have indeed come a long way, but Daddy said it's important to remember that it doesn't matter where you've been or where you're going, it only matters where you are now.
We started with a bit of a lie-in as we had a shorter day today - a real treat as I'm more like my Mummy and not good in the mornings! I snuggled up to Daddy which was nice and cosy.
When we did get going, there was a stiff climb up onto the beautiful North York Moors.
Daddy was a bit puffed out so we had a rest. He's not as young as he thinks he!
It started to rain so Daddy tucked me into my carrier with a blanket. As we were travelling along Daddy was chatting to me and describing the scenery. He said that in a few weeks time the whole moor would be a beautiful purple colour when the heather is flowering.
I could smell the sea today and did some walking on sand which made me think I was on the beach.
We got to our b&b early which is a rare treat. We decided we'd relax with a book. Not sure what Daddy was reading...
...I was much more sensible and practiced my Braille on a subject that will come in useful when I get home.
